What does "natural skincare" mean at Lemon & Beaker?

Natural at Lemon & Beaker means at least 97% of our ingredients are sourced from nature, carefully selected for their purity and potency to deliver effective, skin-loving results. While we source the highest quality ingredients globally, our New Zealand native botanicals are the heart of our products. Harvested from New Zealand's pristine environment, these potent botanicals are combined with advanced skincare science to deliver real and long-term results.

Where are your products made?

Where do your ingredients come from? 

We search far and wide for the highest quality ingredients from suppliers committed to sustainable practices, ensuring both excellence and environmental responsibility. Many of our key botanicals are native to New Zealand and are harvested responsibly to ensure the plants continue to flourish for years to come.

Do your products contain essential oils?

Yes, we include carefully chosen premium essential oils for their skincare benefits. Each is used in safe, balanced concentrations suitable for most skin types.

Are essential oils safe for sensitive skin?

Our products are expertly formulated to be gentle on the skin, and our essential oils are generally well-accepted by most skin types. However, as individual sensitivities may vary, we recommend conducting a patch test before use to ensure the best experience. What are the benefits of the essential oils you use?

Each essential oil is chosen for its unique properties:
- Lemon: Soothes and refreshes the skin while promoting clarity and relaxation.

- Jasmine: Hydrates and nourishes the skin, while uplifting and balancing your mood.

Do your products contain synthetic fragrances or harsh chemicals?

Never. We are committed to clean beauty and avoid synthetic fragrances, parabens, sulfates, silicones, and other harsh chemicals. All our fragrances and colors are naturally sourced from fruits and flowers for complete peace of mind.

What should I do if I experience a reaction to your product?

Everyone’s skin is unique, and reactions to ingredients can vary. If you experience any irritation or discomfort while using our products, we recommend discontinuing use immediately. Gently rinse your skin with cool water, and if the reaction persists, consult a doctor.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?

What is the shelf life of your products?

Our products are designed to remain fresh and effective for 36 months unopened. Once opened, we recommend using them within 6 months for optimal efficacy and safety.

How should I store your products to prolong their shelf life?

Store your skincare products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the lids and caps are securely closed after each use to prevent contamination.

How long will it take to see results?

Results depend on your skin and the product, but many customers notice improvements within 2–4 weeks of consistent use.

Do you offer refillable options?

Not yet! But we’re actively working on finding truly recyclable refillable and zero-waste packaging solutions. We're taking the time to ensure that any new packaging and eco-friendly initiatives meet our high standards, because we believe in providing real, sustainable solutions - not just green claims.

Are Lemon & Beaker safe for sensitive skin?

Our approach to reducing the environmental impact of producing products is rooted in true recyclability. We prioritize high-quality materials that come at a premium, like our 70%+ post consumer recycled (PCR) glass packaging, to ensure that our products can really be kerb side recycled. This means working closely with local recycling plants to ensure the sizing, color, coating, and materials we use are compatible with their systems - not just theoretically, but in practice. We're committed to making a real difference, not just in the products we create, but in the impact they leave behind.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Yes! Every aspect of our packaging is carefully considered, from the design and color of our 90%+ PCR glass containers to the inks used on our boxes to ensure that we’re always making a responsible choice for the environment. Our journey toward eco-friendly perfection is ongoing, and we are committed to learning and improving continuously as we seek better real-world solutions.

Do you give back to the community?

Yes, founder Hannah Williamson is passionate about empowering women through beauty training and education. She has partnered with NGOs to support global communities, helping women gain skills for economic
independence. Her journey, which spans cities like Seoul, Shanghai, San Francisco, and Dubai has deeply influenced Lemon & Beaker’s mission to make a positive impact.

 

Orders and Shipping

Where do you ship?

Everywhere! We ship to all countries. Delivery availability and costs may vary by region. Please check shipping costs at checkout or contact us for more information.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times vary depending on your location. Typically, deliveries within New Zealand and the US take 3-5 business days (rural deliveries may take an additional 48 hours), while international orders generally arrive within 10 days.

Please note we ship packages as soon as possible after orders are received, but we cannot guarantee they will arrive within five days.

What are your online payment options?

Depending on your region, we accept Afterpay, PayPal, Shop Pay, Google Pay and Shopify Payments, offering safe and convenient ways to process online orders. You can use your credit cards with these payment methods. Rest assured, all transactions on our website are secured through an encrypted system. Please note that products will not be dispatched until payment has been cleared.
